Order

When you order a video slideshow from us, you are receiving a unique, custom-crafted, high-quality production created with care and attention to detail.

We are here to guide you through every step.

To help us deliver the best possible result—on time—please review the following information, especially for memorial tributes:


Number of Photos

  • A standard slideshow includes 45 photos – $150
  • Additional photos are welcome at $2 per photo

Physical Photos

We professionally scan printed photos at no additional cost.

If you live locally, you may drop off your photos at the front desk of Grimes Funeral Chapels, and we will pick them up.


Digital Photos

If several people are contributing photos, we recommend designating one person to gather and send all images together. Using a single source helps prevent duplicates or omissions and significantly speeds up the production process—especially when time is limited.

You may submit digital photos in one of the following ways:

1. File Sharing (Preferred)
Upload your photos to Dropbox, Google Drive, iCloud, or a similar service and share them with:

2. Email
Send photos to:
photos@hillcountrymemories.com

Please:

  • Send the full-size (highest resolution) versions.
  • Attach no more than 5 photos per email.
  • Number your emails in the subject line (example: “Dad’s Pictures 1,” “Dad’s Pictures 2,” etc.).
  • Let us know the total number of photos you are sending so we can confirm that all files were received.

3. Text Messages
Sending photos by text message is not recommended, as image quality is reduced. However, we understand that some families prefer this option. Please contact us if you need our phone number.


Music

You may email us the songs you would like included, or simply provide:

  • Name of the song
  • Name of the artist

We will obtain the tracks for you at no additional cost.


Time Frame

The ideal deadline for receiving your photos is 48 hours before the service or event.

We understand that memorial tributes sometimes require faster turnaround. In urgent situations, the minimum deadline is 24 hours prior to the service, depending on availability.


Delivery

Your slideshow can be produced in the following formats:

  • DVD
  • High-Resolution MP4 Video File

MP4 files may be delivered in the following ways:

  • Uploaded to a file-sharing service such as Dropbox, Google Drive, or iCloud
  • Saved to a USB thumb drive that you provide
  • Saved to a USB thumb drive that we provide (available upon request)

Video Preview

We are able to upload your slideshow to YouTube under private settings for your exclusive preview.

Please keep the following in mind:

  • There must be sufficient time before the service or event to allow for a preview.
  • Minor adjustments after preview (such as a small correction or addition) can be made at no additional cost.
  • More extensive revisions — such as adding or removing multiple photos, replacing music, or restructuring the slideshow — may require an additional editing fee. This fee is determined by the amount of time required to complete the requested changes.
  • To avoid additional editing fees, please provide all special instructions at the time you place your order.
